A new journal page....

I have been working today in my journal again and did this page...i have not done my actual journaling yet...I would like to get some pages done and then journal...This was the first time I used pan pastels and can I just say i love them!! I borrowed my moms to see if I would like them and now I have to have these for christmas!! They are so awesome and i love all the colors, so bright!! Another Journal Page...

I have just completed another page in my art journal...I had alot of fun with this and had to use one of my "odd pod" characters as the main focal point!! I love how she turned out! Teesha has opened up a whole new world for me with her tutorials!! [Almost all images were used from angellea 's collage sheet... the two faces are mine and her hair is from a magazine,big black/white stripe is from nancy baumiller.yellow 7&8 are zettiology and orange part of dress is a scrapbook paper.]

I am sure you guys follow teesha moores blog...and if you dont...girl..go right now! lol..anyways she has posted a little tutorial about drawing some of her little odd pods..I was sooo ecstatic to see this and ran right to my journal to draw! Here is my first page of my little odd pods...having soo much fun in my journal..who knew I would love it sooo much!?!

Bought My First Art Journal Book

Hey ARt Friends!! I am so excited to share my latest art happenings! I have bought a new Art Journal for me to create it...I am thinking this is going to be more convenient for me then making a bunch of different books. I have just finished my first page in it...sooo scared to start..I just didnt want to mess up..so that is what I journaled about on the first page. All these funky and odd images are from a zetti collage sheet my amazing art friend, carrie todd created for a swap on our zettiology flickr group! I used all or parts of every image on there...sooo much fun! Carrie I do another one girl! lol...Hope it inspires all of you!! hugs!

Here are the next two pages in my art journal...the penwork is complete, just still needing to do the journaling....4 more pages to go and I will have completed the penwork on my first ever ART journal...I am soo excited about that...this has inspired me to create more in the future....

New ART jOurNal!!

Hey art friends! As many of you have already heard and watched, Teesha Moore added some amazing and inspiring how to journal videos on her blog!! I was soooo inspired to create one of these art journals...actually my very first ART JOURNAL! I have challenged myself to stick to her steps for this process...and to not think about it forever! I am soo use to sitting and staring at something and playing until I like it...it was a bit of a challenge to "just do it". I started out making the journal out of the water color paper and did not use the flaps. I ended up just doing a journal of 10 pages...I thought this would be good for me. When I went to paint the pages..I actually forgot to use watercolors and used acrylics...I probably wont do that again! Watercolors would have been soo much easier but I had gotten ahead of myself and painted in acrylics. I have "finished" 4 pages but they just need journaling added to them. I am waiting on teeshas next videos to do this last step...here are pics of my 4 pages without the journaling...

I have had fun playing in helgas blog challenges and this week I had to play...I have been in sickville for about the last week and it ended up being late but I wanted to post in nonetheless...I wanted to do a haunted theme...I am eager to get back to creating...#3 challenge looks fun too...
